RWAC Rod Pumps
Bottomhole Pump
The RWAC pump is a precision, metal plunger rod insert pump with an API thin wall barrel. Pump design allows for the largest possible pump to be run on a sucker rod string. Barrel design has internal threads allowing the mating of pin end barrel fittings. This makes the pump economical, with a wide variation of parts and materials available for it. Good design for shallow to moderate depth wells with sandy conditions.

RHAC Rod Pumps

The RH pump offers heavy-duty construction with a stroke through design that makes this pump a prime choice for wells with scaling tendencies. The barrel is made from a heavier 3/16” wall and is externally threaded to allow extension couplings to be added to suit individual stroke lengths. This allows the metal plunger to stroke the entire length of the barrel, into both extensions eliminating scale build up inside the barrel.

RWBC Rod Pumps

These are typical RWBC pumps using 4’ and 16’ barrels. Other standard length plungers and barrels are available. Valve rod length will have to be recalculated to each plunger or barrel length change you make. Other balls and seats combinations are available. Fittings are steel, other materials available. API mechanical type hold downs are also available.

3 Tube Assembly, Traveling Barrel Rod Pump

The 3 Tube Pump design originated when it was found that there was a need for a pump that could pump sand or dirty fluid without the plunger becoming stuck in the barrel. When the fit is kept close, chances of sticking become great, however, when the plunger fit is loosened up, more sand or mud can slip by without seizing the plunger.

RW Rod Pump (Hollow Pull Tube)

The hollow pull tube pump is a stationary pump design that can be used in both top and bottom holdown designs. The pull tube replaces the conventional valve rod and due to design is stronger and more ridged. Fluid is discharged through the tube into the tubing string allowing the F opportunity to run an upper valve to help create a two stage effect.

Tubing Pumps (Oversize)

The oversize tubing pump was designed for the maximum size pump in a given size casting. The internally threaded barrel has flush-type end fittings and can be connected directly to the tubing string. The top fitting is normally swaged down to a tubing size that is smaller than the pump bore. The complete pump is run into the well on the tubing string. The sucker rods are run into the well in the conventional manner and attached to the pump by means of an on-off tool. If pin type plungers are needed, we offer plain pin or monel pin plungers with required fittings.

Rod Pump System “Stroke-Thru”

The stroke-thru eliminator pump has been designed to better handle scale and gyp, which can form on the I.D. and O.D. of conventional pumps. This design allows a portion of the plunger assembly to stroke through the entire length of the barrel on every stroke, providing the wiping action needed to keep the I.D. of the barrel clean. Special coatings are also used on critical pump components where pressure drop allows scale and gyp to form. This will eliminate the plunger assembly from seizing in the barrel assembly, when the plunger assembly travels to a portion of the barrel where scale has formed.

Rod Pump System “SAND”

Pumping system gives producers a pump designed specifically for handling abrasive materials or solids found in pumping wells. The pump design combined with particular materials provides a more effective pumping system where abrasive materials are inherent. It provides a more durable pump design to maximize pump run life, under tough pumping conditions.

Rod Pump System “CBM”

The CBM pump system design enables producers to effectively produce liquids, specifically for pumping water, where pump lubrication is an issue. This system is also designed to better handle some fines or solids that can also be an issue for CBM wells. This pump design has been proven to be more effective in CBM applications throughout North America.
